Bud serves as Managing Director of Lomax Partners. He retired as CEO & President of Renfro Corporation in 2017. Prior to serving as CEO, he was EVP and CFO of the company. Prior to joining Renfro Corporation, he held management positions with large, US and international public companies.
Bud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NC State University. He was granted a full academic fellowship to attend the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a Master of Business Administration degree.
Bud runs, swims, bikes and trains and has rarely missed a day of hard exercise in the past 45 years. He is an avid reader and also enjoys numerous other activities including sailing and kayaking.
Bud is actively involved with several companies, lending expertise, advice and support as well as financial investment.
